The charter operates out of the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay, a 20-minute coastal drive from Cape Town city centre. You can be sure that Steve will put you on some big fish while having fun.

His boat – the ‘Beluga’ – is a 28’ Magnum walkaround boat built specifically for fishing the local area. With a twin hull, the boat offers a smooth ride, and its twin outboard motors give it a quiet and fast ride (given the right conditions of course!). Fitted with all the appropriate marine electronics, the boat will get you to the fish in the most effective way possible.

Steve offers a variety of fishing trips, allowing you to choose between staying close to shore to fish for species such as Yellowtail and Cape Snoek, and travelling from 25–35 nautical miles offshore to fish for huge Yellowfin Tuna.

From January to March you will even have the chance to target one of the ultimate sport fish – the Black Marlin, which migrates past the southern tip of South Africa once a year. You’ll get all the fishing equipment you might need for your day out on the waters, as well as food and drinks for your refreshment.
