Ana Banana Fishing Company garandeert een leuke en spannende dag voor elke gast die langskomt. Schipper Joel en zijn familie zijn allemaal visliefhebbers die je zeker een geweldige tijd zullen bezorgen en je op mooie vis zullen zetten. Schipper Joel vaart al 35 jaar en heeft vele vistoernooien gewonnen.
De boot is een 38' Fountain die in 2010 is gebouwd en wordt aangedreven door drie 300HP Evinrude-motoren. Het is een snel en betrouwbaar vaartuig om je mee te nemen op je visavontuur. De boot is uitgerust met een fishfinder die essentieel is voor het vinden van eersteklas visplekken, GPS, marifoon en radar, zodat je je op je gemak kunt voelen, hoe ver je ook de open zee op gaat.
Omdat Ana Banana Fishing Company zulke visfanaten zijn en grondig bekend zijn met de wateren van Florida, kunnen ze je naar de beste beschikbare soorten van het seizoen wijzen. Op je inshore- en bij de kust-trips kun je de beroemde Rode Snapper vangen (indien in het seizoen), Binnensnoek en een verscheidenheid aan Tandbaars. Je hebt ook de kans om Paardmakreel, Koningsmakreel en Spaanse Makreel, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout en Haai te vangen.
Alle visuitrusting wordt verstrekt; het aas wordt op de ochtend van je visexcursie gevangen en de bemanning is uitgerust met verschillende vistechnieken die ze je ook kunnen leren. Dus vergeet niet om een fooi achter te laten voor de eerste maat - hij werkt voor fooien en doet zijn best om je te helpen!
Nu hoef je alleen nog maar een trip naar je smaak te vinden, een dag in de agenda van de schipper te blokkeren, je groep bij elkaar te krijgen en te genieten van je volgende avontuur op het water!

Big thanks guys! We had a great time and it was blast! You were both very professional and knew how to get us set up and still have a great time and it made for a fun day! I looked at my watch and we were already 3 hours in, time flew much too quickly, thanks for getting us on a bunch of fish and we will definitely look you up if we get back.

The boat we originally booked was sold, so we got on a bigger and better boat. Everything was ready upon arrival and we started our trip right away. The captain and first mate were friendly and knowledgeable. Our group was welcomed to the top story and even got a little time at the wheel. You can’t beat the views and the feel of the wind in your face. We got to choose the music and the sound system was great. There was even a bathroom and an air conditioned cabin. (The waves were intense so consider bringing Dramamine.) The captain put us right on a school of yellow tail snapper. Everyone was catching hand over fist! Our first mate and captain helped make sure everyone had bait, hooks, and took the fish off the lines. They were very patient and eager to please. Once we caught our limit, we even got to jump in the water for a quick cool down. Then, we changed course for Mahi mahi. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t find them so we headed back for the dock. Our only problem was that the next charter was already at the dock and ready to start as soon as our trip ended (noon). This meant that the crew didn’t have time to clean our fish until they finished with this next tour. That would mean our fish wouldn’t be cleaned until after 8pm but we planned to cook it for dinner. Soooooooooo...our group had to clean our own fish. Luckily, our guys have experience cleaning fish, but you might need to be sure to schedule time for cleaning.

We had a great time fishing with Capt Joel and 1st Mate Ed. We caught our limit of Yellowtail Snapper, plus some Mackerel, a Rainbow Runner, and a big out of season Grouper that we released.
The guys were very laid back but professional. They make it look easy like only years of experience can. 5 stars!

We were switched to a 42 foot See Vee from the 38 Fountain due to mechanical issues, however we had a great time anyway. Caught in excess of 30 Mahi, about half were too small and had to be thrown back. Even still, it was a very successful trip.

Was worried the weather would keep us from going, but multi-generation Charter Captain Joel, said we would be fine. He was right, boat took the high seas well and we caught a cooler full of Tuna. My girlfriends first offshore fishing trip and she is already asking when we can come back. You will have no issues catching fish on this boat. First Mate Chris was very patient with my girl, and she got the hang of it real quick. Must book this boat if you are in the Keys and wanting to fish.
