Sicily Fishing biedt de meest onvergetelijke kust- en bootvissavonturen op het paradijselijke eiland SiciliĆ«. Ze nemen je mee om te vissen vanaf een van de vele vertrekpunten zoals Catania, Syracuse, Palermo, CefalĆ¹, Taormina en Noto. Het aanbod aan eilanden en visbestemmingen is enorm en kan zelfs scheepswrakken omvatten.
Siciliƫ ligt midden in de Middellandse Zee en is omringd door vele kleine eilanden met ongerepte natuur. Je vindt er heerlijk eten, ongelooflijke geschiedenis, vulkanen, natuurlijke saunagrotten, warmwaterbronnen en andere attracties die uniek zijn voor dit prachtige eiland.
Je vist vanaf een 23ft centre console vissersrib met 200pk buitenboordmotor + een 20pk buitenboordmotor of een 27' kajuitvisboot aangedreven door dubbele inboard 200 PK motoren, waarmee je in een oogwenk de visgronden kunt bereiken. Er is een toilet en een douche aan boord voor je gemak en een draadloze trollingmotor zodat je die schrikachtige exemplaren kunt benaderen.
Het vissen is uitstekend en kan het hele jaar door en in alle weersomstandigheden worden gedaan. Enkele van de beste sportvissoorten die deze wateren hun thuis noemen, zijn je doelsoorten. Je kunt Blauwvintonijn, Grote Geelstaart, Zeesnoek, Tandbrasem (de mooiste Snapper!), 6 soorten Tandbaars, Europese Zeebaars, Blauwbaars, Roze Tandbrasem, Zwaardvis en meer vangen.
Een avontuurlijke 4-daagse visreis in Siciliƫ omvat transfer vanaf alle Siciliaanse luchthavens, binnenlandse vliegtuigen/veerboten, lodge, terreinwagen ter plaatse, visvergunningen, visgids en uitrusting voor extreme sessies, versnaperingen, een gids voor verkenning en activiteiten, reflex- en actiecamera's.
Gasten verblijven in een mooie lokale lodge met alle gemakken, zoals wifi, barbecue en een complete keuken. De lodges liggen dicht bij visplekken. Maaltijden kunnen op verzoek aan het pakket worden toegevoegd. Siciliaans eten en wijnen van de mediterrane keuken worden altijd geserveerd.

Offshore Trip for Tuna and Mahimahi
Full Day Bluefin Tuna Fishing op September 16, 2025
We met as agreed at the port of Marzamemi at 6 a.m., about 50 minutes from Syracuse, for an offshore trolling trip. Andrea had already said in advance that it would be difficult to catch a bluefin tuna at this time of year, but that it was still possible, as well as other tuna species and swordfish. There is also a good chance of catching mahimahi, amberjack, and other predators while light game trolling. After about 3 hours with the heavy gear and no activity from the large tuna, we switched to light game tackle and promptly caught some beautiful mahimahis up to about 80cm, pilot fish, amberjacks, and finally, a small bluefin tuna each. If you have never done it before, you have to experience it. Despite their small size, the fish fight like a big pike in summer - it's really amazing. Not only I, but also my partner was taken to the fish by Andrea and his colleague Luca and, even though she has nothing to do with fishing, we had a good time. Snacks, fruit, sandwiches, and all kinds of cold drinks were provided. Andrea's handling of the fish is very respectful, which I really liked. All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience that I would warmly recommend to everyone.

Bluefin Tuna Trip with Andrea
Full Day Bluefin Tuna Fishing op June 20, 2025
Great time on the water with Andrea and Luca. They worked very hard to get us on fish and took good care of us. The breakfast and lunch that was provided was delicious and the espresso was a real treat. A couple of items to note to help prepare you for your trip:
1. Make sure you bring a big cooler full of ice to keep the fish cold as the boat doesnāt have space to store your catch
2. Due to the size of the boat, thereās no restroom onboard - not a problem for us but wanted to ensure others were aware.
Again, great bluefin trip with Andrea - heās a great Captain that will get you on fish!!!

Thanks a lot for the review Jordan! That was great day with the 2 false Albacore for the boys and that Bluefin Tuna "last second call"! Thanks also for your notes, and just to make it more clear, I would add that: 1. There is a 62-litre cooler full of Ice always aboard for drinks and snacks. Usually, we empty that to put the keeper fish, but you had your cooler. (And you can get ice at the marina for the way back home). 2. The boat we used that day is a 24ft rib, and there is a foldable cabin with a toilet for emergencies! Hope to see all 5 of you soon!! Thanks for the great day!!

If you are interested in fishing the waters of Sicily, look no further, Capt. Andrea and his 1st mate Luca are all you'll need. They did everything they could to provide a memorable experience for my son and I, which of course included an epic bluefin tuna battle for my son. Capt Andrea is also a licensed tour guide for a plethora of Sicilian adventures, so again, no need to keep searching. Buona Fortuna and Tight Lines!

Tuna fishing with Andrea Giard
Full Day Bluefin Tuna Fishing op June 10, 2025
The weather allowed us to get offshore on our second day and Andrea made an exceptional effort to get us some Tuna. An early start, short stop and full load of bait fish followed by a very pleasant drift with two modest, but beautiful Tuna landed. Of the handful of boats on the mark we were one of the few to catch, Andrea knows his stuff. Can recommend.
