Lucky Penny Fishing Charters offers inshore and offshore adventures out of Bridgetown, Barbados. The native crew knows the local waters inside out. They grew up fishing off the shore and in the surrounding islands. If you want something exotic on your next holiday, you have found the right company.

You will go out aboard a 37-foot riviera boat, which is perfect for a big game fishing adventure in Barbados. It comes powered by twin 370 HP Cummins engines with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots. Perfect for accommodating up to six guests, the vessel features a large sun deck and is fitted with modern garment navigational electronics and all the necessary safety equipment, along with Tuna tubes, an ice box for the catch, a live well loaded with bait, outriggers, and down riggers for a professional trolling experience. There is a flybridge to spot any action going on beneath the surface. Head inside to a fully air-conditioned cabin with absolutely everything you may need to spend your day on the water in comfort and style. We have a fighting chair for comfort and ease or we also have the stand-up harness. There is also very little diesel fumes with her outward-facing exhaust.

With a variety of packages to suit your specific needs, you can be sure you will have something to brag about for months to come. Your age and expertise don’t matter: if you are a beginner looking for a not-too-rough fishing action or a professional who wants to butt heads with the big fish, the Captain got you covered.

5 Hour Wahoo/Offshore (AM) on December 20, 2025 • 3 adults

had a 5 hour trip on Lucky Penny on the 19th of December 2025 7am - 12 PM with my son and grandson . Daniel the skipper and Kia the crewman were great , they new where to go to get on the fish and i soon had a King fish in the box, not to long after my grandson OLLIE was into a King fish of his own and after a good scrap it was in the box too. My son Will had the next one a short time later. It went quiet for a while so Daniel moved further up the coast where Ollie hooked into a bigger fish a much stronger fighting fish that he managed to get to the stern of the boat before it rolled several times and snapping off the steel leader !, not long after that we had another savage take on a lure which snapped one of the triple hooks. All in all a great morning on Lucky Penny and we can’t wait to come back and book another trip.

FISH ON!!

I can’t say enough good things about this trip. Captain Daniel was a true professional who was very knowledgeable of the island and where the fish were biting. This was apparently the slower part of the fishing season but we hooked our first 15lb Barracuda about 20 minutes into the trip and continued catching a variety of fish for the next 4 hours. We pulled barracuda, horse eye, tuna, travails and mackerel on to boat before it was all said and done. I would be remiss if I didn’t give a huge shot out to the Mate, Brandon. He and my family had great conversation the entire trip. He was “Johnny on the Spot” the entire time and he knew exactly what he was doing and it showed. I’ve only fished Barbados once but when we come back, this is the outfit I’m calling. Do yourself a favor and Book It!

8 hour offshore/marlin on July 9, 2025 • 2 adults

My wife and I booked an 8hr deep sea fishing trip on the Lucky Penny (July 9). The boat was nice and clean and modern. The captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about fishing the waters off Barbados. I mostly wanted to catch a marlin (bucket list) but no such luck. I did start the day by reeling in 2 nice sail fish before 9am. The rest of the day was uneventful, but not for lack of effort. The captain kept us trolling in different spots. The crew kept the lines in the water cleaning off pesky sargassum as needed. All in all I had a great time on the Lucky Penny and would definitely book them again

Danny and Crew are fantastic!

8 hours offshore. Started slow but Capt. Danny covered water until he put us on the fish. Mahi, Barracuda and a really nice Sail that fought like a demon. Captain and his crew Randy and Kai were great all day. My wife and I had an amazing time on the water and came back with plenty of fish for ceviche and the bbq. Also a bonus on an 8 hour trip to have an air conditioned cabin to duck into occasionally on a hot day.

crew was amazing helpful, talkative informative. boat was immaculate. Crew did everything they could to make sure we caught fish and had a great time. would recommend to anyone looking for a charter in the area.
