Op slechts enkele minuten van Vancouver International Airport, in Richmond BC, vindt u Amazing Fishing Charters. Kom genieten van een volledig begeleide zalm- en/of bodemvisavontuur. Dit gebied is een bekende plek voor vissen het hele jaar door op alle 5 soorten Pacifische Zalm.
En het eindigt niet alleen met Zalm. Tijdens de winter, lente en vroege zomer kunnen we krabvallen uitzetten voor heerlijke Dungeness Crab en/of vallen voor de wereldberoemde Spot Prawns.
U en uw vispartner zullen aan boord zijn van een 22' Arima Sea Ranger Hardtop pilothouse visboot. De boot is uitgerust met alle nieuwste elektronica en eersteklas vismateriaal.
Omdat u de vangst mag houden, zal de schipper deze schoonmaken en fileren.
U zult vissen met 10'6" Westcoast Fishing Tackle 10'6 grafiet hengels en eersteklas "Islander TR3" single-action molen. U moet uw visvergunning kopen en snacks en drankjes meenemen. Houd het weer in de gaten en kleed u dienovereenkomstig.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat with Ivan. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. My favorite part of the trip was watching him interact with my 10year old grandson. He included him in choosing lures and depth positioning. He is an excellent guide. We learned a bit about the surrounding areas and were fortunate to engage in some great conversations.
We were also given great directions to our next leg of our Canadian journey.
Thank you Ivan for making Cole’s adventure to Vancouver one he will always remember.
Bonus Cole caught 3 salmon and was very excited about that.

5 Hour Trip Morning op June 29, 2025 • 2 volwassenen
Was in Vancouver for a biz trip. Whenever I’m in town, I try and get on a boat if the salmon are running. Booked Cap Ivan’s boat about a month in advance for June 29th. Brought a colleague. The weather gods gave us the perfect conditions, sunny, calm, the right tide. Ivan is a warm and seasoned pro who knows when to chat and when to instruct. He knows the waters inside and out and put us on keeper Coho within minutes. Yes there were some slow moments in the 5 hours we were out but we didn’t want for tight lines because we had plenty. We limited out and released a bunch. Ivan, cleaned and filleted the fish. And because he knew we wanted to bring back the salmon to NYC, he had thoughtfully brought along his vacuum pack machine. He packed each fillet separately and even dropped us at the nearest subway station back to downtown. I’m waiting for my next biz trip to BC and Ivan’s boat. Book Ivan ASAP.

I had a 5 hour charter with Ivan out of Vancouver. Could not have had a better day. We did crab pots and caught a ton of Coho salmon. Captain Ivan was knowledgeable, patient, and a great historian of the area. He was a ton of fun to be with on the boat. He is a great captain for solo fisheman like myself, or would be great for a family trip as well.
The boat was clean, easy to get around. Messaging with him prior to the trip was a breeze.
Anyone looking for a fun, stress free day on the water, look no further!

My husband and I booked a trip with Ivan this July and had the BEST time! Ivan was extremely knowledgeable and kind — we’re very much looking forward to booking with him again in September. We are currently marinating the salmon we caught this week and are looking forward to eating it for dinner this evening. Do yourself a favor and book a trip out with Ivan! You won’t regret it!

Cptn. Ivan was a great guy. Plenty of communication leading up to the trip. He had plenty of time to talk on the boat lol, The fish weren't biting like we hoped for but we still had a great experience. We had to throw back 3 fish and kept 3. He kept us out a bit longer because he didn't want us to go home empty handed. He cleaned and vacumn sealed out fish and explained the best way to get them home and even shared some recipes to prepare them. We would definitely book with him again.
