Built For Speed Salmon Fishing Charters biedt het hele jaar door zoutwatervissavonturen in West Vancouver, Canada. De lokale wateren zijn de thuisbasis van alle 5 soorten Stille Oceaan-zalm. Chinook Zalm/Coho Zalm/Rode Zalm/Bultrug Zalm & Chum Zalm trekken allemaal door het gebied. BuiltforSpeed ligt dichtbij en centraal ten opzichte van alle beste lokale hotspots.
BuiltforSpeed is eigendom van, wordt geëxploiteerd en onderhouden door gediplomeerd schipper Chris Speed. Met 40 jaar ervaring in het beheersen en bevissen van de lokale wateren van Vancouver in alle seizoenen. BuiltforSpeed is een 24' Zeta Marine express cruiser, een volledig uitgeruste, overdekte, stabiele en snelle vismachine. Er is voldoende comfortabele overdekte zitruimte voor vier vissers om te genieten van een dag op het water. Een 330HP Mercuiser383 inboard op een BravoIII leg & een stille/rookvrije 15HP mercury trollmotor, afgesteld om de exacte snelheid te krijgen die nodig is bij het trollen op zalm. Inbegrepen zijn 2 Garmin 12' fishfinder/GPS-schermen, Standard Horizon VHF, AM/FM-stereo, privétoilet, gekoelde koelboxen. 4 Scotty HP downriggers met lichte 10,5 ft hengels & een grote voorraad lepels, hootchies, aaskoppen & flashers, allemaal getuigd en gebonden door schipper Chris, dragen bij aan een uitstekend vangstpercentage op elke trip!
Trips duren 5 uur en kunnen naar wens worden verlengd tot elke gewenste lengte. Vertrekkend vanuit Horseshoe Bay is het de toplocatie die een uitstekende kans biedt op Chinook Zalm & alle soorten op slechts enkele minuten van de aanlegplaats. Trollen op zalm is standaardpraktijk in Vancouver. U krijgt kwaliteitshengels, molens, materiaal, kunstaas en aas. Bij terugkomst wordt uw vangst verwerkt/verpakt en gekoeld voor transport zodat u ervan kunt genieten aan tafel. Vliegreizen met vis is geen probleem.
Vereist is een geldige gedrukte B.C. getijdenwater vergunning met zalmtag. Breng uw snacks en verfrissingen mee. Vergeet niet een hoed, zonnebril en warme kleding. Just Book It!

Simple as that. Chris is a flawless technician of the art. it is obvious that his skills and instincts are ingrained after so many years on the water, but he still displays raw excitment on the hook-up. An unbeatable combo. We were able to fish within ten minutes of the marina, followed the bait and had at least ten solid strikes. Landed a 15 pound winter Chinook, a 7 pound wild coho and several smaller chinooks. Lost another real nice Chinook right at the boat. Between hits, Chris shared his extensive knowledge and passion of the sport. During a short lull in the action, Chris sensed a change of presentation was required. We couldn’t get the second rod set up before we had a fish on the first! Ad an experienced and travelled angler, I say again, Just Book It!

I booked a day of salmon fishing with Captain Chris for my husband and two sons as a surprise birthday present. They had an amazing day and it exceeded their expectations. Horseshoe Bay is a great starting point since it takes only minutes to reach a good fishing area. My son caught his first salmon within minutes of putting his line in the water. Chris was very knowledgeable, very well equipped with all the necessary fishing tackle, and gutted and cleaned all the fish they caught. My boys are already planning on going again next year and I suspect this will become an annual boys trip. Many thanks to Chris for a great day!

We had an awesome experience with Chris. From the minute we booked, Chris had great communication with us. He called us before the trip started to let us know about fishing licenses and what we needed to do prior. We caught tons of fish, from smaller chinook salmon to a nice large keeper size fish. We were hesitant about catch and release but it turned out to be great!! Would 100% recommend this trip to anyone looking to have a good time and catch some fish. Views were breathtaking!!! Will be back!

Had a great time time fishing with Chriss
He contacted me way before my trip to make sure I am all set for the trip and walked me through all the required paperwork ( fishing licenses).
We were not lucky enough to catch a keeper but we had a blash catching and releasing Chinooks and Wild Cohos.
He explained all the safety aspects and how to use all the fishing tackle.
If you want to catch some salmon and have fun while doing it, make sure to reach out to Chris.

I brought my two nephews along with my family on a trip to Vancouver and we decided to do a 1/2 day salmon fishing charter. Chris was fantastic. We went out early and immediately catch multiple. When it started to slow he took us to great spot after spot. He was a fantastic knowledgeable guide and the boys and I had a blast. We will definitely be coming back and fishing with Chris again!
