Great captain and boat!

Rod was very friendly and easy going. But he was also very skilled at knowing where the fish were at what time that would give us the best chance of hooking fish. He was extremely helpful when it came to reeling in and landing the fish. We loved the covered part of the boat because the weather became a little bit windy and choppy for a while, and that provided a refuge from the wind. And, did I mention that we caught our limits of Chinook. We had a great time. I highly recommend booking a trip with him.

You can do as much or as little as you want. Rod is always there to help, and has plenty of patience when asked a lot of questions, or when showing/guiding newbies on how to reel in a fish. He goes the extra mile in trying to get your goal.

Always a Great Day on the Water with Rod
8 Hour Trip – Chinook/Coho on August 13, 2024
I’ve gone salmon fishing and crabbing with Rod from Reel ‘em Up Fishing Adventures multiple times, and he’s consistently delivered. Rod knows the water, the fish, and the timing—it shows in the results. He’s put me on fish every time and I’ve always come home with limits of crab. Beyond that, he’s just a really chill, down-to-earth guy who makes the trip enjoyable whether the bite is hot or slow. Highly recommend booking with him if you want a successful and laid-back day on the water.

Day trip with Captain Rod "Reel Em Up Fishing"
8 Hour Trip – Chinook/Coho on July 27, 2023 • 3 adults
The day started a little early at 5:00am. Took about 1/2 hour to get to our fishing spot. Our groggy eyes were barely open when - BAM! fish on. Then BAM!! BAM!!! 2 more fish on! All keepers 2 Chinook and 1 Coho. We circled back to our original location. No sooner did our lines get wet again - BAM! BAM! BAM! 3 more Coho's. We hit our limit in less than 2 hours. We even had some get away. So much FUN!!! We even made it home for breakfast. Captain Rod was incredible! Knows the waters well, top notch equipment and excellent roomy boat. Highly recommend "Reel Em Up Fishing" and Captain Rod!!!

You can immediately tell Rod knows what he’s doing and respects his craft. Such a great experience for our first time fishing salmon. We consistently had fish on the line and caught our license worth in just a couple hours. We were back on the dock with filets in hand before 10am. Highly recommend!
