What a fun day of fishing. Although our start time started an hour late due to a dead boat battery, they ensured we got all the fishing time promised in our purchase. The captain and his fantastic attentive crew had us on fish all day. We kept hearing “another mingo” over and over again for the type of red fish we were catching. The crew handled it unhooked all my caught fish for me and even would bait my hook from time to time to help maximize fishing times (they were sweet). In all I caught about 15 fish but some fish called “trigger fish” were not keep worthy (8) but still were big and fun to catch because they put up a little fight. I caught 7 Mingo red fish and the crew cleaned and fillet at no extra charge. I’m so happy I caught all those mingos!!! The boat is equipped with iced ice chests for each person or family, clean normal size bathrooms, and good fishing reels and poles. This was my second trip to Destin to do this tour. Hope to come back year after year! So fun to yell “Fish on!!!” All day long! Thank you Pelican Adventures.

My wife and I have been on many charters from Key West to Destin over the years. This time we took our 12 year old daughter and wanted a trip she would enjoy for her first time out on The Gulf of America. This crew was great and we all had a blast. Definitely recommend this charter to families and we will be back. Special thanks to Dennis and Ron. They did a great job helping keep the fishing going even with a little rocky water and a few tangles.

This is our second time fishing with these guys and again they didn’t disappoint, kept us on the fish, the crew worked endlessly doing everything they do and just made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. My family now has a new Christmas tradition.

Zack and Evan wore fantastic they kept circling the boatto make sure you were fishing and not waiting around. They spoke over how to catch the most fish and kept the tips and tricks coming. Captin was on top of knowing where to fish and when to move. This trip was on point the entire time my only regret was not booking for 8 hours. Great job guys! Awesome time on a 6hr evening trip. Everyone caught fish. Captain would move spots soon as bite slowed so we could have better chance of filling coolers. Several large Triggers, Reds, Grouper, and tons of Lanes. Deckhand Clay was doing his best to keep up with us. He did an awesome job. Definitely book with them again the next time I’m in Destin, FL
