Step aboard the Sweet William III for some of the best deep sea fishing the Gulf of Mexico has to offer! Based out of Destin, the heartland of Florida fishing, Captain Bill Watson and his crew run a variety of trips targeting anything from Snapper and Grouper, to Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and even Blue Marlin.
The Sweet William III is a 40’ Dawson sportfishing vessel, specifically built for awesome offshore fishing. The boat comes equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, fighting chair, live bait tank, and everything you will need for a productive day’s fishing.
Captain Bill offers a range of trips to suit any taste, and supplies all the tackle for an incredible variety of fishing techniques. Choose between light and heavy tackle, make use of the trolling rods, and even try your hand at kite fishing. Whether it’s bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, or jigging you want, you’ll find everything aboard here.
On daily offshore trips, you’ll have the chance to troll for the bite of a range of strong and delicious fish. Test your skills against Tuna, Marlin, Sailfish, and Wahoo, among many more. You can even head further to fish the deep waters on overnight trips. Learn to bottom drop for a range of gigantic Groupers and Tilefish. While shorter trips will see you focus on the productive reefs and wrecks. Home to Groupers, Snappers, Mackerel, and more, there’s no shortage to what you can catch.
The Sweet William III is completely family and child-friendly, and all trips come with fishing licences, and a cleaning and filleting service for anything you want to take home.

Me my wife and my son went out with Captain Bill on Wednesday we caught our limit and just a very short time we had an absolute blast Captain Bill put us on the fish The first mate kept all of the fishing gear ready kept all of the polls baited with tackle as soon as we set one pole down another pole was ready to be cashed out and more fish caught had an absolute blast all three of us I would definitely recommend captain Bill and his first mate As the perfect charter for someone to go out and catch a crap load of fish and have a awesome time We instantly made friends with Captain Bill and the first mate trust me everybody likes going out with friends that’s what we made we made new friends and had a really good time

Captain Bill and Ian were absolutely wonderful! From my initial request to book until we walked off the dock to our truck, we had a flawless experience! They took care of everything, we just had to bring ourselves and a cooler with drinks and snacks.
Captain Bill was great at communicating with me and responding immediately to my questions regarding booking. Once we arrived at the boat, the Captain's First Mate, Ian, took it to another level of customer service with his outgoing personality, hospitality and relentless pursuit of landing all 5 of us some great fish. The moment our lines hit the water, we were reeling in the fish and Ian was quick at the draw on making sure we always had fresh minnows. If the fish stopped biting, Captain Bill had us in the next hot spot within minutes while we got to cool off inside the air-conditioned cabin or needed a restroom break. The Captain and Ian worked seamlessly together and even had a 6th reel in the water so we could also land two beautiful Mahi Mahi.
To cap off the evening, just as soon as we got off the boat, every catch we were able to keep was hung up and displayed for the perfect photo opp. We walked off the dock with fillet fish packed in our cooler, smiles on our faces and a memorable experience our family will talk about for years. So thanks again Captain Bill and Ian, we are already looking forward to fishing with you again next year! ~ Sandra W.

We booked an afternoon trip for 2 dads and 4 boys to fish for snapper. It was late in the season and as we walked around the docks we could see the morning trips didn’t catch many fish. Capt Bill took us out further and stayed out about an 1 longer then our planned time to try to get us on fish. We caught some good fish and the boys had a great time. Our first mate Tyler worked really hard keeping up with helping get fish into the boat and keeping bait on our lines. He was also great with the boys. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

They had us on fish the entire time and we caught our limit early on of Red Snapper. It was a great trip and good experience with Zach helping us catch early and often! Had to take a partner boat due to some mechanical issues but was no issue.
Would recommend for sure.
