Every angler over the age of 15 in Holland requires a fishing license, called a “VISpas.” These permits will give you the right to fish in any of the country’s public waterways. These cover around 90% of Holland’s surface water, so it’s definitely worthwhile. Other than that, you should always pay attention to the fishing seasons, but your experienced charter guide will make sure you only target those that are in season.
