The island of Cozumel is one of the most famous fishing locations this side of Mexico – and for good reason, too! It’s surrounded by a variety of impressively diverse waterways. There’s the majestic coral reef, deep offshore waters, and plenty of winding inshore flats and lagoons. There’s always something biting here, but if it’s Billfish or a big game bonanza you’re after, an offshore angling adventure during the summer months is especially productive. Thanks to this island’s proximity to seriously deep waters, you’ll be able to start dropping your lines around half an hour from shore.
