Vissen in Palm Beach

Palm Beach, Florida, is a premier fishing destination celebrated for its unmatched diversity of angling experiences. Nestled along the Atlantic coast, these nutrient-rich waters host legendary inshore fisheries for elusive Snook, hard-fighting Redfish, and acrobatic Tarpon, which dominate the estuaries from May to July. Just offshore, anglers target prized gamefish like Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo in the deep-blue currents of the Gulf Stream—accessed within minutes from shore. Unique to the region, freshwater canals teem with vibrant Peacock Bass during summer spawns, alongside Largemouth Bass and exotic Clown Knife Fish.

Whether pursuing reef species near structures like the Bridge Reef or battling pelagics in Sailfish Alley, Palm Beach’s proximity to varied ecosystems allows half-day trips to yield impressive action. Full-day excursions unlock legendary offshore grounds where Tuna, Amberjack, and Grouper thrive. Family-friendly charters cater to all skill levels, with professional crews providing gear, licenses, and expertise for both light-tackle adventures and deep-sea expeditions. The area’s year-round bite, combined with scenic coastlines and accessible deep water, solidifies Palm Beach as a must-visit angling paradise.

Palm Beach Fishing Seasons

Januari

There are a million things you can do in Palm Beach in January but if you're a keen angler you know what you'll be focusing on. Sailfish season is in full swing, and the skies are full of colorful kites.

Februari

The Sailfish are still biting like crazy offshore, as are Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. Deep below them, Swordfish patrol the deep in search of blinking lights to guide them onto your hook.

Maart

The Sailfish bite tapers off in March, but White Marlin show up to take their place. Inshore, Snook and Redfish are biting hard and Peacock Bass are getting more active, too.

April

Marlin season is in full swing by April, with both Blue and White Marlin tearing through the Gulf Stream's warm waters. Yellowfin Tuna also show up this time of year, making for a real feast.

Mei

Peacock Bass fishing really heats up in May, with monster Bass devouring flies, lures, and live shiners like there's no tomorrow. If you get bored of that, walk ten feet and target huge Snook instead.

Juni

The Silver Kings come barreling into town to join forces with Snook and Redfish in Lake Worth Lagoon. The reefs also get busier as the waters get warmer, making for awesome food fishing.

Juli

Take some time away from the water to enjoy the town's amazing Independence Day celebrations. There's a street party, parade, fireworks, and lots of fun.

Augustus

The Full Moon Wahoo Tournament kicks off in August. This is your chance to battle the cheetahs of the sea as they ride the tides in the wake of the full moon.

September

Head offshore and drop your lines a thousand feet or more to do battle with monster Swordfish. This is one of the most prestigious food fish on the planet, and one of the hardest fighters, too!

Oktober

The Tuna bite is still going strong offshore, and Wahoo and Mahi Mahi are in season as well. Bag yourself some tasty big game brutes then celebrate with a beer at Oktoberfest.

November

Sailfish are back in town and tearing up baits out in the Alley. This is your chance at double-digit hookups, so jump aboard and get ready for the fight of your life!

December

Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel, Barracuda, Amberjack - there are plenty of big fish out there just waiting for a fight. It would be rude to ignore them, right?
