Grand Haven fishing charters have plenty to offer. This city is located on Lake Michigan’s eastern shoreline at the mouth of the Grand River, which means you have two excellent freshwater fisheries at your disposal. The Grand River also boasts a healthy population of freshwater superstars. In fall, Salmon varieties head to the river mouth to spawn, and are joined by a good number of Steelhead. This is a great time to target huge Chinook! You’ll also be able to hook Trout, Catfish, and Walleye year-round. Similarly to Lake Michigan, most charter captains offer trips that last anywhere from a few hours on the water to full day adventures.
As Grand Haven is a port, you’ll be able to find fishing charters dotted all around the lakefront and the mouth of the Grand River. Both lake and river fishing trips are on offer, but make sure you let your captain know which area you’re interested in fishing.
