Weather permitting, February has a lot to offer. Aside from healthy-sized Redfish that you can target on a fly, you can also go after Seabass, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout. Oystering is another popular pastime in these parts.

With spring come more fishing opportunities than you can count. Flounder are starting to become more active in the shallow waters, as well as Sheepshead, and the Redfish bite is still very good.

Flounder is one of the most popular catches around Pawleys Island and in April, both the weather and the bite are hot. If you want a change of pace, target Bull Redfish, Sheepshead, or nice big Speckled Trout.

If you’re coming to fish with your little ones, then Pawleys Creek is a great place to have some fun. Whether it’s Trout, Flounder, or Redfish you’re after, the creek is teeming with beautiful and sometimes trophy-sized fish.

If you’re in the mood for something different in June, why not try fly fishing for Sharks? It’s challenging, it’s exciting, and it’s so much fun. Bonnethead and Blacktip Sharks prowl these inshore waters and they’re always hungry.

This is one of the best times to go fishing around Pawleys Island. Your choice of fish is diverse and there are many Trout, Flounder, Redfish, and Tarpon that are hungry and ready to fight.

Wherever you go fishing in September, chances are, you’ll find something on your line. This is also your last chance to get a taste of Tarpon fishing, before these gorgeous fish are gone for the year.

Numerous inlets around Pawleys Island aren’t very crowded in October, which means you can head out and maybe catch your limit of Flounder, Redfish, Trout, or Sheepshead.

Flounder don’t particularly like cold water, which means they’ll be hiding, but there’s still plenty of fish to catch. Big Redfish and Black Drum are freely roaming around, and Speckled Trout action is still going strong.
