Melbourne Beach Grote Geelstaart Fishing Charters

On this trip, you will be focusing on catching some of the best-eating and hardest-fighting fish in these waters. We will be focusing on fishing the bottom. You will stock the boat with the best live bait and typically fish the area's deeper reefs, ledges, and wrecks for Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack.

Our deepwater trips offer fishing from shoreline to 850' depth. We use a variety of gear, including electric reels for deep dropping for Yellow Edge Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Golden, and Blueline Tiles. We incorporate other depths on these trips as well that offer a variety of Snapper, Grouper, AJ, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and more.

Spilt trip starting with trolling possibly out in gulfstream in the am and then afternoon bottom fishing on the way in. There is no certain time to do one or the other depending on bite and weather conditions.

On this trip, you and Captain Taylor will go to depths of up to 200 feet, targeting many exciting species such as Mahi, Sailfish, Cobia, Trigger, Snapper, Grouper, King Mackerel, and more! You leave at 7:00 a.m. and get back after 8 hours on the water. Confirmation with Captian Taylor by 8:00 P.M. the evening prior to departure is REQUIRED!

HALF DAY: 5 hours Includes trolling for Mahi, Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and more when possible. It is not always ideal to target these fish. We will also hit the reefs and wrecks or do some bottom fishing. Rod/Reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included. Please tell the captain how many adults/children are in your party when booking

This is an 8 hour charter from 7 am to 3 pm and will accommodate up to 4 people. An extra $50 charge will be added for each additional person (Up to 6 total). The trip will focus on bottom fishing the offshore reefs in water depths from 75’ to 180’ in search of Grouper, Snapper, Cobia and Amberjacks. Surface baits will be drifted for Kingfish, Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish and whatever else decides to swing through the spread.

Weather permitting! Bottom fishing, we will be targeting various types of lane snapper, vermillion snapper, trigger fish, porgies, and a bunch of other species.
