Newport Black Drum Fishing Charters

Base rate is for 3 anglers. We might find ourselves casting topwater plugs for Red Drum on an oyster bar, pitching jigs and live baits to deep current swept marsh points for Speckled Trout and Flounder, or vertical jigging Breakday Bucktails for flatties. Lots of options here! Start times will vary based on weather, season, or tidal conditions. Going out nearshore is an option if weather permits, and there is a $100 additional charge.

Heading out to find Bottom Dwellers including the Snapper/Grouper fishes, Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish,Tilefish, Cobia, Sharks, etck

On the full day trip, you get 8 hours to do both inshore and nearshore fishing. Or you can just concentrate on one. Targeted species can include Redfish, Flounder, Trout, Bluefish, Sheepshead, Cobia, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, and more. Your catch can be cleaned at the dock and will cost you extra.

Spend the morning fishing for Flounder, Red Drum, Sheepshead, Cobia, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackeral, Black Drum, and more in the inshore waters of Bogue Sound here on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.

The trip lasts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You will fish the nearshore waters of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina and chase Trout, Spanish, Bluefish, Black Drum, Flounder, Cobia, Spot, Sea Mullet, Bonito, Albacore, and Sheepshead.

Trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing options are available for this trip, or a combination to make the most of your day. A first mate will also come aboard in order to make the service even better. Remember that mates work for tips, the usual rate is 20%.

On our 6HR Nearshore Trip we will be targeting the following species, Spanish Mackerel, Blue Fish, Bonito, King Mackerel, and we may do some bottom fishing for the following species, Ring Tail, Grunt, Red Drum, Black Sea Bass. Please make sure to bring all of your personal items you may want on the boat. If you have a child that is younger than 13 please provide them with a life jacket.

8 hour trip departing 7am. Inshore, nearshore, rock jetties, wrecks and trolling depending on what the weather allows.

Inshore fishing trip for 5 hours. Depending on time of the year and what is biting, this trip could be fishing the backwaters for Trout and Drum to fishing in the inlet, trolling along the beaches for Mackerel and Bluefish or bottom fishing some of our local reefs. This trip will be tailored to the customers wishes with considerations for weather and time. The addition of the 2024 Aquasport offers Ali-Kat the versatility fish either inshore or out in the ocean. This trip is great for families & children.
