Surf City Black Drum Fishing Charters

You and the captain will be fishing shallow water areas. You'll fish on light tackle and use both artificial bait and live bait. Sight fishing is a delicacy as it's exciting to see the fish in the water before it takes a bite!

This 6-hour adventure will take you after interesting and tasty species. You'll have a chance to target Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and many more. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join.

Get yourself some additional time whether you want to soak up the scenery, or if you want to bag more fish. During this 6 hour trip, will be covering the area ranging from Hampstead flatlands to nearshore locations. Trips are priced 1-3 people. It is an additional $50 per person.

4-5 hour trip targeting Redfish and Speckled Trout on light tackle and artificial lures. Departure time depends on weather and sunrise for morning trips. All fishing equipment is included in the price.

6 hours of fishing for inshore fish. 2–3 people per trip. Seasonal.

Inshore we will be targeting redfish, speckled sea trout, flounder, sheepshead, black drum, and more depending on season and client preference. Live bait, artificial, and mixed trips are all available. Our 4hr charter will generally be targeting a specific species or two due to time constraints with our 6hr giving us more of an opportunity to branch out into more styles of fishing. Inshore charters will target species such as Black Drum, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Flounder. In-shore charters offer the versatility of stopping for lunch on the river or enjoying some time on a sandbar. Inshore charters are great for kids, families, and experienced fishermen alike. Groups of 6 are available for this charter

Strike Charters ¾ day - 6-hour inshore fishing charter, is perfect for anglers looking to spend a little more time on the water. With an extended time frame, you will have a chance to explore multiple fishing spots and target a broader range of inshore species. This trip offers some flexibility in time of departure and can be customized to fit your schedule.

Join Capt. Ian Farley for a full day of fishing. This trip can leave from either the Morehead City boat ramp or the Marina in downtown Swansboro for your convenience. This trip is fishing with sandbar stops & nature tour.
