Brigantine Bluefin Tuna Fishing Charters

Fish various locations up to 20 miles like Barnegat Ridge, Wrecks, for Tuna, Mahi, Blues, False Albacore, Sharks, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Sea Bass, Striped Bass, Fluke ,etc.

This six-hour trip will take you up to 40 miles out for Bonito, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, and other species. **Please note that the trip price is subject to change due to unstable fuel prices which change on a daily basis.**

Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, False Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, and sharks. Available late May-October. We will fish 30-45+ miles offshore.

If you're up for a challenge and looking to battle some feisty fish this is your package. On this 6-hour trip, you will have a chance to catch Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Bluefish or Mako Shark. You will travel up to 20 miles offshore and focus on trolling for these amazing species. Please remember an additional gratuity of 20% for your first mate! Departure time is flexible - feel free to negotiate with the captain.

With 6 hours on the water, you will have the chance to target even more awesome inshore and nearshore species, with the catch including Striper, Blue, Shark, Flounder, Tog, Seabass, and more, depending on the time of year. Jessie James Charters operates out of Brigantine and Atlantic City. Unfortunately due to current economic conditions, a fuel surcharge will apply whenever the market price exceeds 4 dollars a gallon.

Trolling trips usually take place in July and August. You'll be fishing within 30 miles off the coast, depending on the weather. You'll be trolling above reefs, lumps, and lobster pots for Wahoo, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore, and occasionally Wahoo and Mahi. You may also encounter larger Tuna species like the Bluefin. Please note, these trips need to be planned last minute due to incoming wind and weather patterns. Capt. Jim will be keeping a close eye on the weather reports and keep you updated.

This is a 4-hour trip to explore the local flats, coves, and bays. You'll mostly be using the captain's light tackle, but feel free to bring along your own fly fishing gear if you'd like. Included in the price of the trip is the fishing license for the group. You'll need to bring a small cooler of food and drinks along with you, as well as sun protection and appropriate clothing for the weather. Bass, Flounder, Bluefish, and more can be targeted on this trip. The starting time is flexible!

Gives us more time to get to the pelagic fish that may be lurking close by, but is a season-dependent trip. In May we won‘t catch mahi or wahoo, but may get a shot at a bluefin. In June the odds get better, but water may still not be warm enough. Starting in July the chances improve of finding king mackerel, mahi-mahi, tuna, & wahoo. On this trip we will troll inshore waters for the three targeted species. Depending on current regulations this could be a catch and release trip. Also this time of year the Boat is docked at Minmar Marina is Sea Isle City, NJ
