Half Day Chinook Salmon Charter
Chinook Salmon Charter on August 28, 2025
We left the dock on time and travelled about 30 min to the location where we fished. Jason had all the gear setup and ready to go. He was very patient and let us help with getting the lines in the water and showing us some shortcuts. He was very helpful in giving us tips to make our day a big success and let us have the full experience of popping the line from the down-rigger clip and setting the hook and bringing it in. His boat was very roomy for 4 people and in good operational condition. He had cold drinks on ice and the best touch was his tackle box full of penny candy which my two grandsons (and myself) thoroughly enjoyed. Jason was very friendly and loved to tell us of some of his most exciting fishing stories from his many years of working a a guide. Luckily the fish were bitting this day and we had 5 hours of none stop action as we were hooking a lot of undersized Springs and wild Coho, but we went home with 3 nice sized Springs and 3 Cohos. We would definitely book with Jason again and highly recommend Fishing Storie Charter if you are in Campbell River and want a fun trip.

Chinook Salmon Charter on July 23, 2025
We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Jason! It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We caught an incredible amount of fish including chinook, coho, and lingcod and enjoyed every moment on the water. Jason’s boat is top-notch: comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for a day of fishing.
Jason himself was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made the entire trip smooth, fun, and truly memorable.
Thank you so much, Jason! We can 100% recommend this experience to anyone whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, this is something you don’t want to miss.
