Haal het meeste uit uw tijd in Ketchikan en ga vissen met MacDougall Adventure Charters.
Wij zijn gespecialiseerd in charters voor twee passagiers. Alle trips zijn privé, dus u heeft de boot voor uzelf!
Als u met een cruiseschip op bezoek komt, hebben we de hele dag door starttijden per uur. Selecteer een starttijd een uur nadat uw schip aanmeert. Als uw schip bijvoorbeeld om 7 uur 's ochtends aankomt, kies dan de tijd van 8 uur 's ochtends. Als u vroeg aankomt, is dat geen probleem - we staan klaar om te gaan vissen zodra u arriveert!
Afhankelijk van het seizoen kunt u Chinook Zalm, Chum Zalm, Coho Zalm, Bultrug Zalm, Rode Zalm, Groenling (Lingcod) en nog veel meer vangen. U kunt verwachten dat u met licht materiaal gaat vissen, trollen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied.
Kinderen zijn welkom, dus maak er gerust een familiedag van! Kinderen moeten zwemvesten dragen, dus informeer of de juiste maat aan boord beschikbaar is. Snacks zijn ook een goed idee zodat iedereen blij en energiek blijft!
U gaat lijnen uitgooien vanaf de 'Skye Boat', een 21' Pilothouse met ruimte voor 2 passagiers. Het is uitgerust met downriggers, hengels, molens en materiaal en alle benodigdheden voor een onvergetelijke dag op het water. Er is een toilet aan boord voor uw gemak.
Het is verplicht om een lokale visvergunning te kopen voor iedereen in uw groep. Deze informatie is online beschikbaar, of u kunt het aan de schipper vragen. Sommige soorten kunnen beschermd zijn of een tag vereisen om ze te mogen houden, dus zorg ervoor dat u weet wat u kunt verwachten. Wij kunnen helpen met het naar huis sturen van uw vangst.
Een paar items om mee te nemen zijn een jas, camera, verrekijker, zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), en zonnebril. Drankjes zijn inbegrepen, gratis. Er zijn wat lichte snacks beschikbaar aan boord.

More than a fishing trip.

This was such an amazing experience. Mike and Celeste were helpful, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. We especially appreciated their attentiveness and it felt like they were truly excited to be there with us. The private boat makes a difference.
We were able to catch 2 coho, 3 pink, a small king, and a multitude of other small salmon. Captain Mike came on board with a plan on where to fish to give us the best opportunity to catch fish.
We also were able to help them check their shrimp traps making the excursion especially unique and special.
At the end of the trip they were able to get us set up with getting the salmon overnight shipped back to our house.
When we got back to the boat, we overheard two guys talking about their fishing excursion. “I’ve had better fishing at Myrtle beach. Jerry caught a small one at the very end, but I didn’t catch anything.”
We highly recommend this trip and are extremely happy we booked with Captain Mike over the fishing excursions through the cruise.

Capt Mike and his wife Celeste were amazing. Personable and knowledgeable. We were able to catch plenty of Salmon in addition to some Copper Rockfish. Treated us like genuine people and not as a paycheck.
We were able to see multiple species of wildlife to include a Humpback Whale and Sea Otter.
The fees they charged were reasonable. They offered a military discount.
It was unfortunate that we were not able to keep the King Salmon my girlfriend caught due to it being Emergency due to trying to keep within agreement with King Salmon regulations.
They talked to us and took a genuine interest in us. It was great day or fishing topped off by being able to catch fish by trolling and digging.
They taught us the techniques needed to be successful fisher people. We highly recommend and will be booking with when we return to Ketchikan.
If looking for a private fishing charter they are the ones to go with.

Great Day On The Water!

We wanted to go salmon fishing during our cruise stop in Ketchikan and we’re so glad we booked with Captain Mike! He checked in with us prior to our trip to make sure we were ready to go, provided us with contact info for a local taxi to get us to Knudson Cove, and was right there at the meeting point on time.
During the trip, we appreciated Mike and Celeste’s attention to detail, knowledge of the area, and overall kindness and hospitality. The boat was clean, stocked with snacks and drinks, and had all the equipment needed for a great day of fishing.
We had some bites over the first few hours, but Mike and Celeste stayed busy trying out different lures, depths, and setups for the poles to help us get a catch. My husband finally hooked a salmon and that quickly became the highlight of his whole vacation!
Thank you again to Captain Mike and Celeste for a great day out on the water — we will 100% be booking another charter with them when we are back in Ketchikan!

it was delightful watching his husband and wife team come together to run. Their own business is a very personalized experience and they really make sure that every effort is made so that you do catch fish and the conversation was absolutely delightful. Very friendly. Very nice people I would highly recommend anyone book a trip with them.

Mike and Celeste were Great Hosts.
They made us at ease with a Safety Briefing, then put us on the Cohos.
They are Great to hang out with, very personable!
I love that they just take 2 persons out at a time, we got lots of rod time and it was very reasonable compared to other charters!!
