Puerto Rico King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

We meet at 6:15 a.m. and return to the boat ramp at 3:00 p.m. This trip can accommodate up to 4 people.

This trip is great for those who have fished before, but are not very experienced. You will still head out between 6-15 miles, and have the extra time to reel in the big game!

An extra couple of hours give you that extra chance at reeling in something special, and allow you to go further out in search of huge Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and other big game pelagic species. These fish have the potential to get seriously big so be ready for a battle!

Get ready for an exciting fishing trip in the San Juan Bay and come catch monsters like Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Barracuda, King Mackerel, and many more! All necessary gear and tackle are included, as well as your fishing license. Your captain will also supply snacks and cold beverages for the ride, so just bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat and you're all set!

Heading to the drop-off, after a 30-45 minutes run out, you'll get lines in the water. Typically, you'll be blue water trolling for pelagics such as Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and more. The crew will put its experience to the test and set the best possible spread to put fish in the boat for you.

You can choose to have a longer nearshore day within 5 miles or run out 8-13 miles offshore. Nearshore fishing includes species such as King Mackerel, Amberjack, Barracuda, and Blackfin Tuna. It can be combined with vertical jigging with bottom fishing for groupers and snappers. Offshore fishing is mainly trolling for pelagic species such as Mahi Mahi, Tunas, and Wahoo.

Inshore/nearshore trolling or casting for Snapper, Cuda, Jack, and Kingfish on light to medium tackle. Bottom fishing on the drop in deep water for Grouper and Snapper species.
