Cancún Permit Fishing Charters

Head out to the Nichupte Lagoon for an afternoon fishing for Snook, Tarpon, Ladyfish, Permit, Bonefish, Jacks, and more among the calm, protected waters which are perfect for children and those prone to seasickness. There's an additional dock fee of US$10 per person.

You will get a detailed explanation and training on how to safely spearfish before you get to the fishing area. The captain is always present to ensure your safety and the safety of others. You will be swimming out from the boat to the reef where you will free dive and snorkel for the fish. After the trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to bring home.

If you’re hoping to target a specific species within the Nichupte Lagoon the 6-hour trip is the one for you! Go after Tarpon, Jacks, Sea Trout, Barracuda and Snapper year-round in this brackish reserve. If it’s Bonefish or Permit you’re after, head down between May and October. There are no motorized boats allowed in most areas of the reserve so the calm waters are ideal for sight casting. Spinning and fly gear await on board, as do soft drinks and bottled water. There's a US$10 dockage fee per person.

Spend the day at the bottom! The big boys love the wrecks and the reef.
