If you want to know why this is the "Halibut Fishing Capital of the World," hop on and find out. This full day trip entails going out to target Halibut and delicious Rockfish. The crew will provide you with all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need, but make sure to have a valid Alaska fishing license with you. This is a shared trip, meaning that you will fish together with other anglers who booked the same trip. Trips are around 8 hours but are never exact.

These long-range trips take you into seldom fished waters. We target huge world class Lingcod and any rockfish in the area. We may be reeling up Lingcod on one rod and Yelloweye or Salmon may be stalking your bait on another rod, at the same time. These trips are not for the first time fishermen. You should plan on a full day plus a couple of hours. These trips have amazing marine mammal viewing opportunities! We can not fish for Halibut on these long-range fishing trips. Trip meet time varies each day.

You can use fly or spinning gear with bait or lures, and techniques include trolling, casting, back bouncing, and wading for Salmon and Trout.

Locals know that the Kasilof River is the best spot to go after King, Red, and Silver Salmon. You’ll head out with other likeminded anglers on this 5-hour shared trip! Drift in the pristine waters as you attempt to hook your targets with gear provided by Capt. Dean. Just remember to buy a fishing license beforehand and bring any drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy. Departure time varies between 4 AM and 3 PM and is dependent on the incoming tide.

You have the entire boat for your group, up to 6 people. This multi-species trip can include Halibut, Salmon and Rockfish, depending on your group preferences. Contact the captain for further details and options.

Target Halibut on this 8-hour adventure. Captain Josh will cover your fishing equipment and clean your catch after the trip. Make sure to buy your fishing license and bring some snacks and drinks. The trip runs from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m.

This is a shared trip approximately 8 hours in duration. Based on the tides, we will target everyone’s halibut limits. Our focus will then shift to salmon. King salmon are present in our waters all the time, so make sure you have a king salmon stamp. From mid-July through the rest of the season, more plentiful numbers of pink and silver salmon are also available. If you know you want to target halibut and salmon, this is your trip.
