Fort Walton Beach Red Snapper Fishing Charters

This is a 5-hour fishing charter in either the bay or the gulf, depending on the sea conditions and your preference. The Captain will contact you a few days ahead of time to discuss where the bite is best, and what the weather forecast looks like for the day you've reserved. Safety comes first so if the seas are rough, you'll fish the bay. Reef, inshore or offshore fishing? Choose your game and the captain will take you out on this exciting 6-hour trip. Depending on the season and the location, you'll be chasing Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel, Amberjack, and whatever else is biting.

Spend a little more time in the morning exploring the waters of the bay or Gulf and increase your chances of hooking that monster catch! You'll generally start off by catching your bait at the beginning of the trip, before heading to the fishing hot spots. Here, you will fish for species like Snappers, Bull Redfish, Groupers, Amberjacks, and Mackerel. Your captain will make sure you're provided with a valid fishing license and top-quality fishing gear.

Gulf fishing begins in March on the hunt for a Cobia, then moves into King Mackerel, some surf fishing, and as the weather gets warmer, we'll land some Red Snapper, Mahi, Grouper, Tarpon, Black Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and a variety of other fish! Spend the day on this offshore fishing adventure. Rods, bait, and other gear you'll need to fish will be waiting for you on board. Bring your sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, snacks, and drinks, and you're set to go.

This 6-Hour morning trip with Captain John and first mate Nick is a great choice for friends and families. This fun-packed fishing trip will include bottom fishing for Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, and other in-season Gulf fish. We will also do some trolling for some bigger fish species including King Mackerel, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, and more. All fishing gear including rods and reels, tackle, and bait is provided. Water and Gatorade will be provided, but bring any snacks/beverages you like!

We’ll leave the destin pass and head to a number of large reefs and wrecks offshore. Utilizing sonar and spotlock to key in on the fish. Live bait is the perfered method if available. Jigging is also recommended, Lots of action is typical, but be ready to compete with big angry fish. Customers are welcome to bring thier own rod and reel if they are built for the challenge. Otherwise the gear is provided.

We will be no farther than 8 miles offshore Bottom and troll fishing

Enjoy fishing some of Destin’s natural bottom and artificial reefs. You can choose to spend your time reeling from the non-stop bottom action or take your chances trolling for something more sporty. The Gulf of America fishery in the Destin area is truly incredible. Make sure to be mindful of the weather conditions and try to book on days that seas are predicted for 2’ or less.
