Outer Banks Bluefin Tuna Fishing Charters

During the months of December, January, February, and March our Bluefin Tuna season takes place. Bluefin is the largest of the Tuna family. Imagine hooking into and fighting a fish over 300+ lbs! If you are looking for the ultimate thrill – this is the trip for you.

This trip will see you fishing the waters up to 35 miles offshore. You'll spend 10 hours chasing Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, and Marlin. Bottom fishing is also an option when in season. Please remember to tip the first mate and bring along enough drinks and snacks to keep you going!

On a Gulfstream full day trip, you venture out 40 miles to the waters of the Gulfstream. There you seek to find Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi, Sailfish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and anything else that may bite the hook. Typical departure times are discussed with the client but will usually be around 5:00 a.m. You typically return in the late afternoon or whenever the boat is full!

Are you ready for the ultimate offshore trip? Rise and shine and meet up with Capt. Gregg with the first light and head out to the best fishing grounds in the area, some 35 miles away from the shore. It will take about 90 minutes to get to the spot, and then you can target majestic Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, as well as Wahoo and Mahi Mahi. Pack a supply of food and drinks, and get ready to reel as if your life depended on it!

On this trip we venture out to the Gulfstream 40 miles offshore. There we will set out and troll for Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, and anything else that is biting. We could hook up on a big shark! Capt. will discuss departure time, but usually this trip leaves the dock at 5 am. and will return in the late afternoon. Bring plenty to drink and eat. We have what you need to fish!

Offshore full-day trips target Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Marlin/Billfish, and Tile fish(bottom fishing) 20% tip is customary to mates

Up and at ‘em! Meet Captain Buddy and his mate before the sun comes up and head out for a trip of a lifetime! Enjoy the ride out in the AC/heated salon while the mate gets rigged up. When you get to the fishing grounds, get ready to reel in some Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, and/or Billfish! Pack your own food and drinks and leave the rest to Capt BC Sportfishing!

Leaving the docks at 4:30AM, returning at 3:30 PM with 11 hours of offshore fishing targeting Tuna, Tilefish, Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish. If you're looking for that trophy fish, this is the trip for you.

On full-day trips, you'll make your way through Oregon Inlet around 40-50 miles to the Gulfstream. From May to late September, you can target a wide variety of fish, including Mahi, Wahoo, Black/Yellowfin/Big Eye Tuna, White Marlin, Sailfish and the famous Blue Marlin. Sometimes these trips can be a little longer than 12 hours unless you are ready otherwise. We don't leave until the box is full and our customers are smiling!
