Fantastic trip and guide.  Jim worked hard all day to put us on fish, keep us on fish, and helped us understand the best ways to catch the fish.  His knowledge of the fishing grounds, the fish, the fishing tactics was clear in the end result - we caught fish, we caught a good number of fish, we caught a variety of fish, and caught them using a variation of techniques.  We’ve fished a lot with guides all over and all of us, including my 10 year old son, said, hands down, our trip with Jim... My son and I went out for a half day with Capt. Jim, and it didn’t disappoint.  We limited out on sheepshead by the jetties, and missed the black drum limit by one. We had a total of 65lbs of fish! My 9yr old son loved it!

Captain Jim made sure we hit the water when fish were biting. Our girls were slamming the black drum and having a blast! We also got to see plenty of reds, flounder and mangrove snapper! He was super enthusiastic with the girls, offered great advice when conditions changed and they both left with additional fishing knowledge. We can’t wait to book with him again!

My family and I had the best time with Jim!! He was great and we appreciated all his information as well as conversation! Really had the best day and can’t wait to go back with him again:)

I took my son for his 10th Birthday. Captain Jim was kind, personable and great with my son. We ran into some rain and he immediately told us we could stay out longer if it got bad to make sure we went home with some fish. Made some great memories and brought home 70lbs of fish! Will be back!
