We went out with Captain Darryl and had a wonderful time. We went with family that we hadn’t seen in a long time. We had the boat to ourselves and 1/2 of us didn’t have a clue of what we were doing. The other 1/2 were experienced fishermen. Captain Darryl gave us new fishermen all the help we needed. And let the more experiences people just run with it, giving support when needed. Sorry, this took so long. Went to Alaska the first week in August to fish Halibut with Alaska 4-Star Charters. Could not have picked a better crew!! Captain Jodi got us on fish right **hidden content**-Capitan Darryl gave us a demo on equipment and technique, then let us loose.  After that, they spent their time coaching, teaching and making sure everyone caught fish and had fun.  We caught Rockfish, Cod, Halibut and Salmon.  I even hooked a big skate. Crew really made you feel like family, Captian put us right on the fish and made sure everyone had a great time and caught fish. We limited out on Halibut, and caught a handfull of great looking Cod. If I’m in Whittier again I would use 4 Star

One fish in the boat but guide was great. Would go again. Fishing was slow but the guide did his best to get fish in the boat.

Captain Jody ans Capptain Daryl were outstanding!  Happy to help and very patient with my 88 year old father.  He had a blast pulling up fish!  Been on many charters myself, they’re the best.  I’ll be back!
