I was raised here on the Outer Banks and my love for fishing stretches back to when I was a young kid. I’ve spent many of days and nights on the water and can’t wait to share my experiences. After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps in which I spent 4 years serving this beautiful nation. After getting out I began commercial fishing on a pelagic long line fishing vessel. Needless to say I have a few tricks up my sleeve so come join me on the water for a memorable experience.

Its been a while since ive posted a report but overall its been nothing but a good time. The sheepshead fishing has been improving, ive also been catching some red drum, black drum and some flounders. We cannot keep flounders yet but here soon it will be game on! Keep in mind 2 hour trips go by really fast so if youre looking for a good catch I recommend fishing as long as you can!

Its been hot and beautiful! Fishing has been hit or miss in the sound but ive been catching red drum, flounder, speckled trout, sheepshead and black drum along with croakers and spot. Nearshore was very beautiful there for a good bit. The days i did have trips i caught alot of amberjacks, triggerfish, black seabass and flounder.

Its been a busy and fun last couple of weeks. Theres definitely been a lot of ups and downs with the fishing lately but weโ€™ve managed to to have a great time! Overall ive been doing mostly sound trips with my 2 hour and 4 hour trips but we have been catching sheepshead, speckled trout, black drum, red drum, bluefish and tons of bait fish.

Ive had some good and bad trips this week. On the nice days and longer trips i can go a little bit further and really fish the spots good but its fishing and some days they make me work hard for them. All in all its been nothing less than a great time. Ive been catching sheepshead, speckled trout, red drum, black drum, spanish mackerel and bluefish.
