Our charter was during when water was rough, there wasn’t very many good spots to fish for the off shore fish we were looking for but our captain went to various spots inshore to make sure we had plenty of opportunity. At one point even stopped off at a beach to attempt to catch live bait. Was still a good time and you could see the effort in making it a good experience even with the rough weather conditions.

Wow!! It was a great trip. Would recommend to everyone. Gene was very accommodating and put us on fish we limited out in 2 hrs.

Loved it….Captain was great! Super personable and friendly. It was like fishing with a friend. He was very knowledgeable put us in good spots, we took home some keepers, had a great time. We will go with him again next year!

Captain Gene was awesome for our father-daughter trip. Much enjoyed the fishing! Captain Gene communicated well as we planned the trip.

We had to change plans last minute due to tropical storm Nicholas coming into LA - so Cpt Gene was happy to accommodate a planned off shore trip into a bay trip. We fished every dock and rock formation imaginable to get a feel for all kinds of fishing. Black Snapper, red fish, pig fish, skipping jacks, speckled trout, flounder…. Thanks Cpt Gene - I now know the difference between a nibble and grass and promise not to cast over the docks next time! :-D
