We had an amazing fishing trip with Captain William Risher! He has the best fishing advice and really knows the saltwater wildlife inside and out. Not only did he put us right on the fish, but he also made sure we understood the techniques and tricks of the trade. Grado family of five had such a great time we caught fresh 10 fish ( 60#), enjoyed the beautiful day, and learned so much about fishing. Captain Risher truly guarantees fresh fish and a fun experience. Highly recommend booking a trip with him if you want both adventure and knowledge on the water!

Captain Bill got us on the fish in the first 15 minutes and never let up until it was time to head in. He had a great knowledge of the areas/underwater structure, great gear & boat, and enough bait to feed a whale. We had a 10 and a 12 year old in our group of 5 and he saw too it that they had a blast. Memories were made, fish were caught, and plenty of fillets filled the cooler, Despite the rain shower during the fish cleaning at the dock. If you’re coming to the Pensacola Area get on an It’s A Good Day Boat!! You won’t be disappointed.

We’ve been coming to the gulf for 17 years and Bill @ Its a good day charters is by far the best experience we’ve ever had.  Our original date had thunderstorms and Bill worked with us to move it later in the week. That day also started off with storms too but Bill was flexible to delay it for a few hours for the storms to pass. Turned out to be a great day for fishing! We were pulling in fish right and left. I thin collectively we pulled in 35 fish. We took home a ton of red snapper and Bill gave us a great tip for a restaurant that would cook them up for us. It was delicious. I highly recommend Bill and It’s a good day charters!

Capt. Bill was amazing. Very smart with having the live bait ready. We didn’t have to catch the small live bait so we were ready for the big fish right away. Capt. Bill is very knowledgeable of the fish in the ocean, as well as locations to fish. We had fish on the very first cast. We did have a couple sharks that were taking our fish, but we still came home with plenty for us and had loads of fun. Capt. Bill even told us where to take some of our fish for “Hook and cook” and that was the best fish I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend captain Bill with Its a Good Day. I know I will book with him next time I am in the area.

I have fished on several charters over the years and did a lot of research looking for a captain that would give my two young sons (7&8) the experience of a life time. Both boys had never been to the ocean or been on the ocean. Captain Bill delivered and exceeded my expectations. He was kind, knowledgeable, friendly, patient and made the boys feel included. We lucked out with one of the nicest days I had ever seen on the Gulf of America and Captain Bill put us on the fish. The boys reeled in dozens of fish. We got to see dolphins, schools of Bonita and Mai Mai and four species of snapper plus a giant trigger fish. Captain Bills vessel was immaculate and had quality rods, reels, tackle and fresh bait. The vessel was comfortable and had room for my self, wife and two boys. Captain Bill handles his vessel with ease and expertise. Captain Bill had vast knowledge of the Gulf and the fish that swim in the water. Captain Bill is laid back and relaxed and it makes for an enjoyable day on the water. The boys talked nonstop about the trip afterwards. I can’t say enough about Captain Bill, you should book yourself a trip and find out for yourself.
