- Fishing is in my blood. I had been tagging along with my grandparents surf fishing and dad freshwater fishing since before I can remember. I was always in awe of the different types of fish that were being put on the dinner table. As an adult, my passion for the outdoors expanded, and I started exploring beyond the surf and freshwater and to the field. I began studying foraging and archery hunting. I am constantly reading and expanding my knowledge of trees, native plants, and animals. I have been working in the food and beverage industry for the past 15 years. My upbringing and working so close to food really brought into focus the importance of sustainable production and consumption. I decided to start Tide to Field to be able to dedicate time to the outdoors and introduce it to others.
- Techniques
- We specialize in surf fishing and utilizing the various styles based on conditions. Jigging, high to low, live-baiting, and fish finding are all styles that can be used on the surf!
