Its pretty much standard at this point that captains in the Keys can put you on most any species you want. Sometimes there are off days, it’s still fishing, but to have a captain that can do that and be a genuinely entertaining, good hearted person is hit or miss. Captain Aaron is the best captain you could go with get the full package trip. If the fish are biting, you’ll be on them. He can make a quip or joke that gets you laughing, ride the highs and lows with you, and still manage to keep everything on track for a successful trip. His fish cleaning skills are superb, and you wont find anyone better with new fisherman or families. I have brought two of my friends down now to give them a taste of good fishing, and Aaron handled both like a champ, while still taking care of me and making sure I had a good time as a more experienced fisherman. I rarely leave reviews because when I do I feel the need to in-depth. Let me start with, if you are still looking for a charter than your search ends here. Aaron embodied exactly what we didn’t know we were looking for in a fishing trip. Although he is from Indiana, he’s got the southern hospitality down. Not a second went by without Aaron quickly swapping out baits for us, showing the inexperienced how to cast, fish, etc. He cuts no corners and actively tries to get you the best experience and value. He would ask before we made any decisions about switching spots, suggested some great ideas, etc. We caught more than enough to eat. The only thing that limited our catch was my inability to set a hook (would’ve had at least 7 more fish to show for). Hell somehow Aaron even got our friend who is literally scared of fish to catch his first fish. I also get extremely motion sick (I’m prone to this) about three hours in and he wasted no time helping me bring in a huge Mutton Snapper and then bringing the boat back to the dock. I didn’t throw up so this 5 star review now becomes a 6 star review. Even though I get terribly motion sick, I would go back and do this again and again….and again. Every person in our group cannot stop raving about what a great pick Aaron was over any party fishing boat.

My two daughters and I just spent three unforgettable hours fishing with Capt. Aaron. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on the water! Aaron truly made this outing special. From the moment we arrived, he was fantastic with the girls. He remembered their names and ages. He took the time to teach them how to fish, patiently guiding them through each step. His ability to connect with them was impressive, and they were both hooked from the start. Aaron’s patient expertise shone through as he untangled their lines and baited their hooks, allowing us to focus on the excitement of fishing rather than the usual frustrations.

He brought us to a hot spot where the action was non-stop—every cast yielded a catch! It was crazy action for hours. My daughters were thrilled, and their laughter and excitement filled the air. They want to go again (mission successful). Afterwards, we shared a cold beverage while he filleted and sealed up the catch. Unbelievable.

As someone who goes fishing a lot, I can confidently say that this experience stood out as one of the best. Aaron’s passion for fishing and his dedication to making our trip enjoyable were evident throughout the day. I highly recommend Capt. Aaron for anyone looking for a memorable fishing adventure. You won’t be disappointed!

Captain Aaron was very knowledgable and took us to best spots. It was our first time fishing but my family caught many yellowtails, snappers, grunts, parrotfish and also shark! We also saw dolphins and sea turtles! I would highly recommend. Thanks for the great trip!

Aaron did an excellent job and was willing to go out on Christmas. We caught several fish including one shark which we didn’t keep.  He took us sight seeing after we was done fishing. The whole fishing trip was the highlight of our Christmas vacation!
