We booked the 3 hour sunset cruise. None of us had ever fished before and we were hoping to catch a marlin to recreate a photo of our friends father who recently passed away. We told the captain that and he told us we would make it happen! We got 1 pack of the live bait after being told it would make or break the trip. The boat ride itself was amazing. We got to see the arches and a great stretch of the coast.

When we put the lines in the water, we immeditaely caught two Mahi! They were huge and it was so exciting to sit in the fising chair and reel them in. We didnt get any bites for 90 minutes but then everything change. We caught a marlin that got away. Then shortly after we caught two more marlin at the same time. It was so chaotic, fun, and hilarious. Two of us are trying to reel the marlins in and the rest of us are screaming in excitement. One got away and one we were able to get into the boat, take pictures, and released it back into the ocean.

We also saw whales coming up to the surface at least 10 times. This was the trip of a lifetime. I believe Carlos was our captain and Ivan was the first-mate. They were AMAZING.

Hands-down one of the best fishing experiences I’ve ever had. The captain and crew were absolute pros from start to finish — knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. We hooked into an absolute monster marlin, and the crew coached me through the entire fight like seasoned professionals. The boat was spotless, the gear was top-tier, and the whole trip felt safe, smooth, and well-run. If you’re fishing in Cabo, this is the team you want on the water with you. Can’t recommend them enough.

We had a great time. Captain Carlos and First mate Christian did all they could to make sure we had a good time. They oaused at the Arch so we could photograph it and pointed out whales and even followed one for a while. We didn’t catch anything until the way back bot it was a large marlin we did catch. Both men did everything they could to get it aboard whiich did happen.

We met Hiram at the boat dock and were told that the boat Baja 1 had some issues. Hiram upgraded us to a 36 foot fishing boat, Reel Medicine. This boat was unbelievable. The Captain and crew are fantastic. They all worked hard to get the fish on the boat. I recoomend either boat, captain and crew to anyone who wants to charter a fishing boat in Cabo.

What a great day! We set sail on Friday at 6am. Captain Jorge and his first mate were friendly and quickly got our lines out in the water. At 730a we saw some chasing going on, our lures were being stalked. At 745a we had two marlins on line.
First marlin was about 20 mins to reel in. My grandson brought it in quick. The second marlin was a bit bigger (7 foot and approx 130+lbs.) and took about 45 minutes to land. What an amazing experience. Paloma 34 is the way to go.
