Hello,, I am Captain Joe Currie. Growing up in Wilmington N.C at the age of 10, I started fishing the waters of Wrightsville beach N.C., primarily off of johnny mercers fishing pier . At the age of 12 i started fishing the off shore waters of Wrightsville and Carolina beaches .After several years of fishing these waters, It inspired me to become a USCG licensed captain, So i could share my love and knowledge of this great sport with others . Whether you're a seasoned veteran or have never been fishing in the ocean, My goal is to make sure you have a great time and enjoy your fishing experience..

Kingmackerel fishing was on fire for the last trip of the season . Due to high winds ,rain ,and rough seas with falling water temps . I will not run anymore trips this year .. I want to thank each and every one who has booked with me this year. I hopen to see you guys again in 2026. We will be cranked up and ready to go come mid April 2026 .
