Needed to kill a day in Blue Ridge.  Originally booked a morning trip but the captain kept and eye on the weather and dam water release schedule and recommended a different trip time to maximize clear water.  He knew all the holes and helped this very rookie angler land a handful of good sized trout.  Wonderful, relaxing afternoon.  Thank you!

Our guide was dedicated towards making sure that our experience was unique and unforgettable. Moreover, he explained techniques and practices on how to use the gear and equipment effectively, hence, we landed a lot of trouts ,yet we actively encouraged catch and release practices. In town visiting family. Trip was great. Sean worked hard to get us on fish. There were 3 of us with different experience levels, and Sean handled the number and differences well. Appreciate the hard work! Would fish with them again.

Guide went out of his way to make us feel welcome.  Water was low in the river.  Worked hard to keep us in on track.  Landed one beauty 6lb rainbow.  Fantastic personality and guest service.  My son was 12 and had a great time

I was happy our guide (Cruz) adjusted the plans to match the best conditions. We caught several Rainbow and a couple browns. I would definitely recommend Mike and Trout Talkin as the best way to spend a day.
