We had a great trip fishing with Capt Ed. The seas were high the day we went and one of our group was pretty seasick. They took good care of her. We caught a good number of sea bass. The boat and gear were all in great shape. The mate did a good job. I’d recommend the Lucky Strike.

Captain was friendly and professional. Deckhand was extremely helpful and friendly. The boat was very accommodating for a private charter. Clean bathroom, air conditioned cabin. Even a bunk bed that my son was able to lay on when he got dizzy from the waves. We caught 4 sharks and they even fillet them for you. I have been on 3 other private charters and this one I would book again.

Capt. Ed and Deckhand Brandon were fantastic.  We we on the water for a 6 hour fish, and when we arrived on our first stop we had Mackerel on the hook within 5 minutes.  After catching a ton of mackerel, we headed over to do some shark fishing. Upon arrival to that spot, we had a hammerhead on the line.  After releasing it, we landed a nice black tip shark after about a 10 minute wet hook time.

We booked this trip with the intent of entertaining a customer, and while the day was great and the captain was very helpful and polite, we were overall disappointed. I was very clear with the captain ahead of time for our expectations, and Ed told me that we should catch drum, trout, mackerel etc. but when we got there we just bottom fished for small black sea bass all day. We didn’t catch anything with any kind of fight or worth keeping and when I asked if we could troll the mate’s response... Meer

This fishing trip was booked for our sons (13/8). Our 8 year old had never been deep sea fishing. For his first time he had so much fun. Captain Ed and First Mate Brian worked hard for us to have a great time. We left with a lot of Spanish Mak’s and limited on sharks! The cabin felt great, cool and comfy. Highly recommend this boat for your fishing trip.
