- I was born and raised in Key West, and started fishing with my grandfather at the tender age of 8 years old. My grandfather taught me how to fish, and instilled in me a great love and respect for the ocean. As I grew I knew that this is what I wanted to do with my life. As soon as I was able to shake my parents notion that one day I would head off to college, I began to fish in earnest. I started in the commercial industry trapping, diving, and hand lining. Though I enjoyed that life immensely I also enjoy showing people a good time, and showing off my craft. which led me into the charter boat industry. I went from first mate to owner of 4 charter boats at historical charterboat row. I have learned from the best in the industry, and have passed my knowledge onto my crews. I believe that all fishermen are show offs. They know that it is not easy to go fishing and actually catch fish, and that's what they do. Come on out and hang with our showoffs, I promise you will be entertained.
