We were super excited for our trip on the Kenai with Jason, but ended up being a bit disappointed after our experience. Maybe the timing was all wrong for fish (mid-July), but our boat only caught 2 char during the 4 hours and 80% of the time was spent paddling with our poles out of the water. The staff was incredibly nice, but I just had different expectations for the price we paid to float on the river for 4 hours and not personally catch anything. Unfortunately, we didn’t fish with Jason... Meer

Nathan Sorry you didn’t catch as many fish as you wanted. When you booked your trip I told you that the trout fishing has been up and down all summer and that you would be fishing 8 miles of river with Caleb not me. They call it fishing, not catching for a reason…. I’m glad you enjoyed Caleb’s company and saw some fish. Jason

We enjoyed our time on the river. Jason put us all on some fish (rainbow & charr). The rainbow were huge!! Good conversation and banter. Scenery was awesome. Excellent time. Hope to get back to do it again
