- Fat Cat Fishing Charters is a team of professional anglers who are dedicated to providing an excellent service to all their clients and friends. Captain Bradley Masters has been fishing his whole life and worked with his father who is also a captain. Bradley has been running Fat Cat Fishing Charters for over half a decade, taking over once his father retired. A 2nd generation fisherman, he decided to follow his father's footsteps and has never looked back. Raised on the water in the ST.Petersburg, Tampa Bay area with my dad working Blue crab and Stone crab traps and fishing I learned the hot spots..Then my dad got into the charter fishing business and I mated for my Father for 7 years.
- Techniques
- We try to do what ever it takes to get our customers on the fish. From Flats fishing to up to 40 foot deep all depends on whats biting, weather and what the customer wants to catch. We catch lots of nice Snook and Sharks most of the time. Tarpon in the months of May thru August. Trout, Sheephead, Ladyfish, Jacks, Mackerel, Sharks, Snook year round. Kingfish when in season. Best to ask the Captain whats hot at the time you want to go on a Fat Cat Fishing Charter. Tides and time of day has a lot to do with fish biting so if you have a question please ask the Captain what time is best for the day you want to go. The captain will clean and fillet your catch, so you should just bring a cooler and leave it in the car ready to welcome the delicious fish. Pack food and drinks, put on a cap, sunglasses, and bring a camera to mark this unforgettable day.
