Not one, two or three…we caught 5 Roosterfish ranging from 37 to 54 inches. Family of 4 with younger kids, Capt Javier and 1st Mate Junior were so great. We had live bait that Javier caught PRIOR to our charter (most catch bait DURING your alloted charter time) which landed our bucket list fish. This boat knows what they are doing. We fish often in Florida and we can’t recommend Capt Javier and Junior enough. Reliable, hard working, knowledgeable, and fun! Tight Lines!

I wanted to catch a large rooster and the boat crew worked really hard. They went out the night before and caught large bait fish for me to use. I only caught one rooster but it was the largest I had ever caught. It’s not about the number of fish but the experience and this boat did a great job. I would definitely recommend booking with them for your next trip.

Javier and Andy are a great team! They made the trip easy for my group. We caught 5 big tuna which was really fun. Javier got us in the right place at the right time. Andy kept things running smoothly and even prepared some tasty snacks for us. We had a wonderful time and I Highly recommend them to anyone planning a fishing trip.

Javier is just an all-around great guy! He was unable to take us out due to unplanned maintenance on his boat, but he facilitated an outing with another captain (Randy) for the same cost (and a slightly upgraded boat) under a compressed timeline. I will certainly be using him when I return to Quepos. Be sure to ask about his multi-day trips!

Can’t say enough greats things about my fishing trip. Caught everything I was looking for and more. Captain had great equipment and put me on the fish. Captain was very knowledgeable, had a plan for the day and executed it flawlessly! I would absolutely use him again.
