I basically paid $1600 for a boat trip out to sea with 7 of my boys.  NO fishing to speak of at all.  The crew did most all the fishing on only one rod.  Everyone else watched, fell asleep, got bored, watched the ocean view, whatever.  All of these young men have never fished at sea before and were looking forward to a couple of hours of REAL fishing and the experience of casting and learning.  It did not matter if they caught anything or not.  It was not explained to me that one or two lines could out at a time.  I would have NEVER booked and paid so much for so little in return.  I have been on boats before where everyone was fishing to the point of exhaustion.  I was totally ripped off.  The two mates on board could have cared less about the boys experience the entire trip.

We booked a 5 hour trip. Weather wasn’t the best and the fishing was sub par because of it. Captain Manny had a bad attitude and acted like he didn’t want to be there. I would think that the other Captains in the fleet would serve their customers better. He didn’t even bother to come down from the bridge to except the generous tip that I begrudgingly left because the 1st mate Mike deserved it
I brought 7 family members and I just wanted them to have a great experience
