Lifetime angler of both fresh and saltwater. I have been a licensed captain since 2007 and have fished the Atlantic Ocean and bays of every state on the East Coast as well as the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean.
Techniques
We specialize in ground fish such as Tautog, Flounder, and Seabass. We also enjoy trolling for Mackerel, Bluefish, Rockfish and several other species found nearshore around Ocean City.

Water temps are solid in the 50's and the Tog are chewing... can't catch them from the couch, so get in touch with me and lets get you out on the water to make the report! The large model in the cover picture of this report was measured at 32.5 inches and 20lbs... fish of a lifetime... many others in the 5lb to 8lb range...

Bay fishing continues to be excellent for catch and release. Keeper flounder have been tough to come by this year, especially with our regulation changes from 16" to 17.5" minimum length. Bluefish continue to show up around the jetties, bridges, and shoals. Tautog and Sheepshead have been on the scarce side but expecting to pickup soon... Nearshore reefs are loaded with flounder and providing a fun day in the ocean when the weather cooperates.

Weather has been warm but the wind keeps coming... the SW is ok for bay fishing as long as there isn't too much grass and mud... clean water makes summertime fishing good... stained water makes it tough and we have to fish much harder to catch. Flounder and bluefish are still main target, with tautog fishing opening back up on July 1 we will be targeting tautog and sheepshead...
