My husband and I went deep sea fishing on a half day trip with Anthony and first mate Magic Mike. We caught barracuda, tuna and mahi mahi, and when we returned to the dock, Anthony heard how I’d love to catch a tarpon and before you know it, he’s got one hooked on the line as Mike was cleaning our fish! Anthony and Mike were upbeat, welcoming and clearly experts at their craft. Would recommend this charter for anyone hoping to hook into some fish!

We have never been fishing in the Caribbean before and didn’t know what to expect but Papa Smurf blew us out of the water! We had an incredible experience with Captain Anthony and first mate Mike. They took us to a couple great spots on the reef and we caught a ton of strawberry grouper, rainbow runners, triggerfish, yellowfin snapper and butterfish. My husband & I honeymooned to St Martin & we are so glad we booked with Papa Smurf. The crew was so kind, generous & really knew what they were doing. We were fortunate to catch a wahoo, tuna & a few barracuda! When arriving back to the dock they surprised us with a champagne toast which couldn’t have been more thoughtful! An absolute gem off a fishing trip! 2 Mahi Mahi, 1 giant trigger fish and a half bucket full of fish fry material. Non stop action and making memories that will last forever.
