My son, 3 grandsons and I met the Salty Leprechaun on Fish Haul Creek beach. He was enthusiastic, clearly loves fishing and very patient teaching our 10, 12 and 14 year old boys. He showed them how to tie knots, cast and tell when they had a fish on the hook. We caught 8 whiting, 1 catfish, 1 skate and 2 sharks much to the delight of the boys! We are grateful that the Salty Leprechaun shared his “Happy Place” with us.

Buck is a prompt, lively, responsible, flexible, patient, and knowledgeable fisherman. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the morning on the beach with him. Four hours flew by. My 11 year old son caught lots of fish and we had great conversations about fishing strategies, marine life, oceans and tides, and more. Who needs a boat to have a great fishing trip?! A must do! We are two 60+ women who booked a shore fishing excursion while our husbands golfed. It was the highlight of our trip. Buck was not only patient with us, but made it incredibly fun! We ended up catching a > 5 foot shark much to our surprise! We are absolute beginners!

Took my son for his birthday. Buck was personable, professional, and knew his stuff. He taught us both a lot about surf fishing. We both had a great time catching fish. Would definitely recommend!
