- Captain Charlie has always had a passion for fishing. He has spent his life fishing in both the Outer Banks and the Chesapeake Bay, and made the move to guiding after retiring from Norfolk Fire Service. After captaining boats for a variety of operators, Capt. Charlie bought the Sea Dream and started running charters of his own. The Gulf Stream is his favorite playground, and nothing makes him happier than taking groups out to these incredible waters in search of monster pelagic species like Marlin and Tuna.
- Techniques
- Trolling is the go-to tactic onboard. If you encounter debris or weedlines, you can also target Mahi Mahi on lighter tackle near the surface. You can also try bottom fishing and jigging for a variety of species like Triggerfish and Amberjack if the bite is slow. However you spend the day, the aim is always to have a great time while doing so!
