My husband, myself, and our 2 year old son had an amazing time fishing with Captain Mike!!! He was super personable and was so patient and great with our son on the boat with us. His knowledge of the area was incredible and he was able to out us on all sorts of fish. We definitely will be back to fish again with him and highly recommend anyone in the Savannah area that is looking to wet a hook to reach out to Whiplash Charters, you wont regret it!

Captain Purvis kept us on fish all day long! If you are looking for a great time on the water, look no more. The pricing is very reasonable and well worth every penny. Within our first 2 hours we managed to catch an inshore slam. Captain Purvis is a personable captain and is very efficient at what he does. Highly highly reccommend!

Michael is an amazing Captain! My daughter and I were looking forward to this trip for a long time. He was patient with us, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Unfortunately, an hour into the trip, we encountered severe downpours. But he quickly guided us to a resting area until we could get back on the water. Then, took more time out of his day to make sure we had every opportunity we could to catch fish, and we did! Truly amazing and we are thankful to have such a kind individual!

Capt. Mike was great. He is very optimistic that we would catch fish, he kept our lines baited and in the water. He put us on fish. We caught a lot of fish. I know it’s not called catching. It’s called fishing, but fishing is so much more fun. When you catch fish, we lost track of how many we caught and we had 7 keepers, trout, redfish, one spanish mackerel, and a bunch of little blues that just love to eat the bait. 

Captain Mike is one of the friendliest and most hospitable charter captains I’ve met.  He took us to multiple spots and put us on some great fish and we shared many stories and laughs during our time.  We will be back for another memorable trip!
