Background: I have loved being on the water since I was a child. I made my way through the Beautiful Gulf of America on several Charter boats and now and I'm back running Tell'nTails. I hope to share my broad knowledge of fishing different species and different techniques for both bottom and troll fishing. We strive to provide a great experience for you and your group. Spanish mackerels have showed up in full

We had 2 trips booked for today. The first was our 3hr Spring Break special. Shortly after Justin put the lines in the water we had non stop action. We ended that trip with 65 spanish mackerel. Our 2nd trip was no different from the first. Only this was our 4hr trip. Fishing was a little slower but not far off from this mornings trip. We ended up with 69 spanish mackerel. All in all today was a great day.

Our charter guests experienced wide open fishing today boating limits of red snapper! This season is NOT over folks! Get in on the action before its too late-Red snapper is open on Fri, Sat and Sun till the end of November. Come enjoy the ambiance, weather and great fishing!

CATCHING keeps going!!

The fish were starving for anything we threw at em today and the action was nonstop!! King mackerel were chewing the paint off the lures and spanish mackerel were not far behind them. The bonita also made a great showing to too it all off! One delicious mahi-mahi for the icing on the cake. Could not have asked for a better crew or day on the water!

We booked a 6 hour trip that was sold as either bottom fishing or trolling—it was a last minute booking. Captain messaged right after I paid the deposit that he could not go out for bottom fishing due to rough seas but could do a 4 hour trolling trip. It was odd because the weather was perfect and seas seemed very calm. Regardless, we thought a day fishing is better than no fishing. I am sorry you werent happy with your trip. I know in your first message to me yall wanted to bottom fish instead of trolling. Thats why I asked if you wanted to troll for the 4hrs. If you didnt want to troll for the 4hrs when I first asked then I would have understood and we would have refunded your deposit. When trolling for any type of fish it takes time to find them. Once we find some we troll that area in hopes there are more there. Its not a fast pace bite as it would be if we went offshore. Im sorry if it seemed like we didnt want to be out there because that was not the case. We stress over finding our customers fish everyday and making sure they go home with fish to eat. We did have 5 or 6 fish in the box and asked if yall wanted the fish from our sister boats customers who didnt want their fish before we got the fish from our sister boat.The weather may have seemed calm close to shore and in the bay but if we would have gone offshore it wouldnt have been enjoyable for you and your family. We want our customers to enjoy and have fun on their trip with us. We dont like seeing them miserable and sick. I assure you we wanted yall to catch fish and enjoy the trip. I apologize if you think we wasted your familes vacation time but you was told what we would be doing before you arrived at the dock.
