My son and I went on our first fishing trip on Lake Michigan with Captain Chris & his son. They taught my young angler why they chose the bait they did, why the water temp, the depth, etc. It was so cool to watch the experience through my son’s eyes. We went on a 4 hour charter and caught some Lake Trout! Highly recommend, awesome experience!

We had a great time with Captain Chris fishing in Grand Traverse Bay! We have used Reelin Leland the past four years and always enjoyed our times on the boat.  This time was no different. One of my sons has always wanted to catch a salmon and has tried for several years to get one. This year he was fortunate enough to reel one in with our first bite of the day, a 13 pound King! Reelin Leland has always been and will always be the place we go to when we vacation in the northern Michigan area.

Captain Tony is great-he went above and beyond for us, from being available the week of the 4th of July, to calling us with the weather report 24 hours prior and relocating our charter to a safer location & adjusting our departure time to ensure we could still go out. We caught 7 lake trout and a 19lb king salmon!

From start to finish, everything about this trip was top-notch, making it a remarkable fishing trip. Captain Tony and Dylan were not only highly skilled and knowledgeable about the area’s fishing spots but also incredibly friendly and helpful. We had action throughout the trip and were able to bring in a handful of king salmon and lake trout. The equipment on board was exceptional and the boat itself was immaculate, I would highly recommend booking your next charter with them!
