- Background
- Come aboard with Captain Kevin Mears on his 22' Pathfinder Tournament Edition bay boat. The boat is equipped with all the latest gear such as a GPS-controlled trolling motor, fish finder, GPS, radio, Power Pole, safety equipment, and life jackets. There is a cooler on board that is always stocked with bottled water available and there is a fish box filled with ice if you decide to bring your catch home. Fish cleaning is provided at no extra cost. You will fish St. Helena and Port Royal Sound areas along with all the backwaters in between while chasing Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, and various other species. We will target species such as Cobia, Tarpon, Jacks, and Sharks when they come into the sounds. We will use light to heavy spinning gear depending on the species we are chasing and use a variety of live bait along with some lures. The equipment being used is top-of-the-line Ugly Stik rods and quality Penn reels. Captain Kevin will provide all the gear, licenses, and bait needed. He is USCG licensed and insured.

- We use popping corks and carolina rigs when we use live baits and artificial lures also.
