I enjoyed a day out in the water catching multiple fish. We caught and retaining bonito fish that the guide filleted and I later grilled and ate, (delicious). The guides were knowledgeable and thoughtful. We even hooked into a marlin though we eventually lost it, still it was exhilarating! I will definitely book again next time I visit.

Fishing was slow however the captain and first mate made the trip a success. I recommend.

I took my sons who are 11 and 13 fishing for a 6 hour morning trip.  We had a fantastic time.  We caught 35 Bonito and 1 Spanish Mackerel.  We took   some of the fish to Sticky Fingers restaurant and they prepared a great lunch.  I would highly recommend booking a charter with Alejandro on Sol y Mar.

Me, my mom, and sister in law are in puerto Vallarta on a girls trip and booked this charter. Captain Alejandro and his deck hand gave amazing customer service, got us on multiple fish each, and made us fresh ceviche. It was an easy process to book, find the port and captain. Highly suggest
